How to Install a Ceiling Fan
Welcome back to Monday! This week’s How To video is on replacing a ceiling fan. Build.com’s own Jason Childs shows us how to replace a downrod fan with a flushmount fan in his kids’ rooms.
The cool thing about these fans is their style. Both from Craftmade, the Bloom looks like a flower with two rows of spinning petals for blades. The lower set is not powered, but rotate from the air being moved by the upper blades and is controlled via remote for ease of installation and convenience.
The Glamorous Glen resembles the front of an airplane with a light up nose cone for illumination and pull chain controls. What could be cooler for child’s room? Jason’s kids loved the end result.
